This is Princess Tiana herself from the new movie "The Princess and The Frog". She is a cool box that can hold lots of treasures for your princess. My little girl is also excited that we have a Cinderella box, too...just no picture yet. Sorry! :)

Its that time of year again! Happy October everyone! How are your boobs doing? Don't forget to get your mamogram to make sure everything is as it should be...

Its time for our 4th Annual "Think Pink" celebration all month long!

Our window is filled with pink pottery and a big glittery pink ribbon--all to celebrate strong women and to help erase a disease. Come on in and see what we are raffling this year...a big ol' tub! I've been painting it for a couple weeks and it is FINALLY finished. I love it (if I'm allowed to say that about something I painted.) and you will, too. All you gotta do to win it is buy one of our pink ribbon necklaces for $5, ALL the $ goes to the American Cancer Society, and you are entered in for our drawing to be held on Sat. Oct. 24th! Come on! It helps a great cause and you could win a hand-painted ceramic tub valued at over $200!!

Also, "Paint 'Til You Faint" is gearing up again...join us on Friday Oct. 16th---anytime after 6 until you faint! $10 to get in (ALL $ goes to ACS), yummy food, LOTS of prizes and fun plus everything that gets painted that night---a portion of the proceeds goes to charity, too. We had so much fun at our National Pottery Convention! (Yes, they do have enough crazy pottery people from all over the world that come to do it every year.) The highlight is always the auction that raised money for the Vera Bradley Breast Cancer Foundation...our organization raised over $35,000 in one night! It was great...

Of course, we made our contribution and got this super cool plate painted and signed by Bette Midler herself!

Come by soon...we've been moving things around and, of course, adding new pieces...and coming soon--Disney pottery---Mickey and Minnie themselves plus Cinderella, Lightening McQueen, and even Tianna, the newest princess! We'll keep you posted on their arrival.

Kansas City, here we come!

We are leaving on a jet plane EARLY Friday morning to head out to our much-awaited National Pottery Convention! This year it is being held in Kansas City. We are so excited to see all our pottery friends and learn all kinds of new things and be inspired and refreshed!

Because we can't be in two places at once...the studio will be CLOSED Friday September 11th and Saturday September 12th. We'll re-open (rather sleepily) on Tuesday September 15th 11:00-7:00. Thanks so much for your understanding...Kansas City, here we come!

Family Night!

This Friday July 3rd is Family Night at color me happy! Downtown will be buzzing with LIVE music up and down Newcastle St. , wine and beer tastings, fantastic restaurants, and fun right here with us!

Bring the whole family and paint some pottery, learn glass fusing, or even tie-dye a t-shirt...yes, we'll have kids' and grown-up sizes! :)
