platters that matter

For the past 3 years we have had the honor of being involved with a great event here in the Golden Isles. It is a fantastic night of eating yummy food, visiting with friends, and raising money for a great charity that benefits women and children--two of our favorite things. They wrote a blog about our involvement this year...Click on the link to check it out!

Halloween is coming...

A very creative friend of mine has shared how she enjoys jazzing up her house for the spooky holiday that is approaching very quickly. PLUS, she's very thrifty...I love that. :) She loves creating environments that are fun and memorable for her family...and you can do it, too! Even if you're not creative---you just have to go that little extra step---it can be done in small and easy ways.

Check out what Rachel has done here and feel free to share what little things you enjoy doing to bring that special-ness to your house that makes holidays fun!
