Halloween is coming...

A very creative friend of mine has shared how she enjoys jazzing up her house for the spooky holiday that is approaching very quickly. PLUS, she's very thrifty...I love that. :) She loves creating environments that are fun and memorable for her family...and you can do it, too! Even if you're not creative---you just have to go that little extra step---it can be done in small and easy ways.

Hello faithful followers! I am happy to announce an exciting change in this little corner of the blog world...

drum roll please....

I have discovered that people that like to come create something fabulous at color me happy are two kinds of people---some think of themselves as the creative-sort and see inspiration everywhere. Others claim not to be the creative type but would love to be!

That is where we come in! I find so many fun DIY, crafty, lovely ideas and I want to share.

I have discovered a great blog recently and I wanted to share one of the super-cute projects. She made a cool pendant light out of a flower pot from Lowes...genius.

Pigging Out...

We "pigged out" on pottery at our National Pottery Convention! We've got lots of new ideas and fun things coming...Get excited!!

We've added Canvas Painting to color me happy! We've got 2 different sizes to choose from...11x14 ($18) & 16x20 ($24)...plus all the patterns and even already outlined Canvas---ANY age can do it! Of course, we've got blank ones, too... The best part? You get to take your creation home the same day! Come in and see whats new...

Attention all Room Moms!! Or anyone really...with kids that go to school or are involved with any sort of adult person...at church, with sports, whatever. Have we got a great gift idea for you! This entire shark was painted using nothing but fingerprints!! Pretty cool, right? It works really well with one child or 34 children...all creating together.

Show Me How: Step By Step

So many times we here, "Wow! Thats cute...but I could never do that." No matter how many times we say, "Yes, you can! We'll show you how..." people don't always believe us.

So, here you go! We're introducing a new series of workshops called "Show Me How: Step By Step." During Ladies Night we'll also hold a special class for anyone who wants to join us. We'll show you how to do our project, "step by step." Its that easy!

You can even do the project on any piece you choose! Our 1st class will be held during Ladies Night on February 18th 6:00-8:00. We'll show you how to create this super-cute "Cheers" platter. The platter is $39 and includes everything or you can choose another piece of $25 or more.

We are asking that you let us know that you're coming and put down a $10 deposit so we can plan accordingly. Space is limited...

Don't worry. If you don't want to do the project for the workshop you don't have to! Just bring your friends and do whatever project you like just like any other Ladies Night. :) We'll still have all the pizza you want for $5 and you can BYOB! Mark your calendar now!

re-vamped website
